“When I arrive at the gates of heaven the Good Lord will ask ‘what did you do in your life?’ I will respond ‘I tried to win football matches’ He will say: ‘Are you certain that’s all? But well thats the story of my Life” – Arsene Wenger
Arsenal FC vs Manchester City April 2nd 2017: Manchester City is currently 3rd in the Premier League 7 points ahead of Arsenal FC. This match is the first match after the international break. This is both a curse and a blessing since Petr Cech, Gibbs, Ozil, Perez, Sanchez, and Cazorla currently injures. This will give time for some of these key first team players to recover and be fit to finish the rest of the season while other long-term injury players will have to be eased into the starting line-up. Both Arsenal and Manchester City have players that feature in international teams so that will also be a factor in deciding how the teams line-up against each other. The two teams will also be looking to gain momentum for the rest of the season by a win. I think it will be a draw with plenty of goals due to both teams dodgy defence and goalkeeper problems.
Arsenal FC vs West Ham United April 5th 2017: West Ham United is currently 12th in the table and have recently lost their star player. I think it will be a well-fought win for Arsenal especially with the West Ham players and manager looking for redemption after the 5-1 loss to Arsenal in December.
Crystal Palace vs Arsenal FC April 10 2017: Crystal Palace is playing at home against Arsenal. They are currently languishing in 16th place in the Premier League. They will look to gain a win over Arsenal to keep above the relegation line. I think it will be a win for Arsenal.
Middlesborough vs Arsenal FC April 17 2017: Middlesborough is playing at home against Arsenal. They are currently fighting against the relegation battle as they currently sit on 19th place in the table. It will be an easy win for Arsenal.
Arsenal FC vs Manchester City April April 23 2017: This is the FA-Cup Semi-Final match. The FA Cup is the oldest Football competition in the world. Arsenal has won in 2014 and 2015. Arsenal is also tied with Manchester United for the most number of times it has won the cup. Arsenal will look to continue this great run and will most likely try to ensure at least an FA cup win while also attempting to secure a top 4 position during this time as the timing of this match is crucial. Arsene Wenger would have just faced the same opponents a little over two weeks prior to this match and his tactics against Pep Guardiola will be interesting to see. I think it will be an Arsenal win that will go to the wire with many goals scored.
Arsenal FC vs Leicester City April 26 2017: This match is against the current cup holders of the Premier League while Arsenal came second last season. Leicester City have just sacked their coach and the team seems to have awoken from their slumber with their performances improving ten-fold. Leicester has reached the quarter-finals of the Champions League and their second leg is on the 18th of April. They will be tired and Arsenal should look to take advantage. I think it will be a hard-fought win for Arsenal.
Tottenham Hotspur vs Arsenal FC April 30th 2017: Tottenham Hotspur is playing at home against Arsenal. They are currently 2nd in the Premier League 9 points ahead of Arsenal. Games against Tottenham are always interesting to watch due to the rivalry amongst the two teams. They are also the in-form team at the moment apart from Chelsea. I think it will be a draw.
Arsenal FC vs Manchester United May 6 2017: Manchester United sits 2 points above Arsenal in 5th place. This will be an important game in the top-4 battle. I think it will be a win for Arsenal with many goals.
Stoke City vs Arsenal FC May 13 2017: Stoke City is playing at home against Arsenal. They currently sit in 9th place in the table. I think it will be a tough win for Arsenal.
Arsenal FC vs Everton May 21 2017: Everton currently sits on 7th position in the table with the same number of points as Arsenal. I think it will be an easy win for Arsenal with many goals
